If you follow the Tibia decorating scene, there’s no way you’ve missed Karo Lyn’s setups. Whether she’s in a contest or just styling her own place, she lives by one rule:

“GO BIG OR GO HOME”

Massive scales are her absolute specialty, and she does them like no one else. And let’s be real – it’s not just about owning huge houses. Think about the dedication it takes to track down the perfect property for a specific vision, not to mention the insane costs of filling that much space – especially when, let’s face it, most of the furniture comes from the Tibia Store. Planning a layout for that many SQM takes way more imagination and effort than the average house. When you put all that into perspective, her projects are even more impressive!

What about the crystal-filled rocks near Kazordoon? Those beautiful blues and teals? Karo Lyn knows exactly how to work with these elements to highlight every unique feature of a property. Check out this Lost Cavern project – it’s pure inspiration!

Has the rock-carved city of Kazordoon ever screamed “lush green forest” to you? Probably not. But isn’t it a brilliant idea to bring some color into those grey, gloomy walls? You can take those underground levels – usually filled with lava, hidden ores, and the constant clanging of dwarven hammers – and transform them into vibrant forests or, like you see below, delicate meadows full of flowers and romantic hideaways. Imagination really has no limits!

If you loved the decor above and the way those floral motifs add such a light, fresh vibe, you’ll definitely want to check out the massive project Karo Lyn pulled off at the Low Waters Observatory. Even though the house is tucked away between the desert and the water, she managed to create a lush, thriving garden and a beautiful Dryad-themed sanctuary. Playing with contrasts against the surrounding environment is always such a fascinating move!

We started by talking about contrasts, but what if you lean into the location’s vibe to amplify the theme even further? Just take a look at the project below. A sunken ship hull turned into an underwater treasure trove full of secrets. An absolute masterpiece that took 2nd place in our “Decorate All Year Round” contest, 2025 edition!

Let’s switch gears and head to the surface – specifically, Tiquanda. It’s the ultimate spot for a jungle-themed layout, right? Think treehouses, vines everywhere… and inside, you’ve got hammocks, monkeys, and all that unique foliage to really nail the tropical vibe.

But hey, decor doesn’t always have to be about contrasts or mirroring the surroundings. You don’t have to stick to common color palettes or tired themes. Sometimes, you can draw inspiration from pop culture! A favorite movie scene, a nod to a TV show – it all comes down to your own imagination. Check out the project below: a legendary scene from The Lord of the Rings. Let’s be honest, it’s the perfect fit for Tibia’s vibe, don’t you think?

Swamps? And to top it off, some nasty green faces and… an ogre? Hey, who doesn’t love the adventures of the iconic Shrek! This decor is a subtle nod to his swampy home from the movies. It’s absolutely spot on!

Sometimes, you don’t even have to look that far for inspiration – you can find it right here on Tibia fansites. Reading content created by other players is a goldmine for your next decorating project! Inspired by an article titled “The Djinn Wars” by Makadamia, where she dove into the origins of the conflict between the Green and Blue Djinns, Karo Lyn decided to bring it to life. The result? A stunning 3-part decor series that tells the whole story. Check out her take on the text for yourselves!

Did you know that Kha’labal, now known only as a desert, was once a lush land filled with rivers, magical gardens, and crystal springs — a place many called Eden? Blue Djinns and humans lived there together in harmony, surrounded by rivers, crystals, and magical gardens. But the wrath of the Green Djinns changed the world of Tibia forever…

The Last Moments Before the Tragedy – the meeting that was meant to end the war…

Malor and Gabel arrived with their guards to discuss peace. For a brief moment, it seemed the conflict could finally come to an end. But hatred had already grown too strong, and war was drawing near…

A war the world of Tibia had never seen before…

Gabel moved on his opponent. Malor, who had no intention of fighting honorably, waited a long time for this moment. Soon, the ground around them parted, and thousands of undead, sent into battle by Drefian necromancers….

“The Djinn Wars”, Makadamia

The battle consumed the entire land. Rivers dried out, gardens burned, and in the end, only sand remained…

We’ve already walked you through a bunch of Karo Lyn’s amazing projects, but when you’re dealing with a player this creative, you know this is just the tip of the iceberg – she’s created so much more! Thank you so much for the feature! <3
I’m really happy that my decorations and ideas can inspire other players and become part of the Tibia decorating community.
Creating this Djinn Wars series was such a fun project for me, especially because I could bring Tibia lore to life through decoration.
And of course… expect more of my chaotic ideas in the future 😀
