Krailos Quest
ITEMS
The Krailos Quest is one of the most interesting from a decorator’s point of view. You can really get a lot of decorative items from it, which will later be useful for your decorations. Here they are:
SPOILERS
We also recommend reading the quest spoilers, available in 3 different languages:
1. Ancient Amulet
To get this amulet, you need to use a character who has the Krailos Quest yet to start or is in the process of doing the “Hungry New World” quest for NPC Larek. Then we will be able to go to the place marked on the map below, use the bird’s nest and get the Ancient Amulet. Wanting to take another one, it will be necessary to remove the previous one from the backpack and use the nest again.
Unfortunately, after completing the mission and returning the amulet to Larek, the opportunity to get it on a given character is lost forever.
2. Ogre Beer
An Ogre Beer can be obtained regardless of active quests, with practically any character. You need to go to the right place and use the barrel located near the ogre’s tent. However, we will be limited by a short cooldown, lasting only 3 minutes.
3. Shark Teeth
To collect this item, we have to go to the place marked on the map, and there we have to take the shark’s teeth out of the bottle. The cooldown for this item is exactly 10 minutes. You do not need to start a quest to obtain it.
4. Voodoo Lily Pollen
You can collect this decorative pollen using flowers found throughout Krailos – Voodoo Lily.
The cooldown to collect another piece is 1 hour. In order to collect them, we must be on or before the mission “The Great Hunger” for NPC Ghorza (for example, a lvl 8 character created to collect pollens). Unfortunately, after completing this task, it will be impossible to gather Voodoo Lily Pollen again.
5. Dragon Egg Shells
We can collect these shells if our character has not started the Krailos Quest, or is in the middle of “The Great Hunger” quest and is performing tasks assigned to NPC Ghorza. To get them, we need to take them directly from the dragon’s nest, located on level +1, southeast of the Orge village.
The time we have to wait to make another attempt to collect the Dragon Egg Shells is 1 hour.
6. Painted Gourd Rattle
Although this item is a guaranteed accessory that you will receive when completing “The Great Hunger” mission in Krailos Quest, it is worth mentioning that you can make more Painted Gourd Rattle. The condition is to inform the NPC Ghorza that you lost the item (“lost gourd”) before finalizing the mission. Then you will receive a brand new Gourd, and after completing all the steps again, you will get another Painted Gourd Rattle.
7. Red Paint
The quest gives us the opportunity to repeat the process of assembling the Painted Gourd Rattle from the beginning, unless we complete the mission “The Great Hunger”. All we need to do is to inform NPC Ghorza about the lost item (write to her “lost gourd”). This way we can start collecting the necessary items again and get that small bowl with red paint. This activity can be repeated as many times as we need.
8. Trapped Hyaena
To get Trapped Hyaena we need to start the corresponding task during “The Great Hunger” mission. NPC Ghorza will entrust us with a net, and ask us to catch a sleeping hyaena located west of the Ogre village.
Wanting to get more copies of the item, we must return to Ghorza and inform her of the lost net with the words: “lost net”.
She will give us another net in which we can catch the hyena again. We can repeat this action many times until the mission is finalized.
The sleeping hyena respawns after 4 minutes.
9. Ogre Rune Stones
These stones can be acquired in any quantity during the “The Great Hunger” mission. All you have to do is take the items out of your backpack, go to the NPC Ghorza, and inform her of the lost things with the words “lost runes”. The NPC will give us individual runes one by one (to get the whole set, we have to write to Ghorza 5x).
When taking the rune of our choice out of the backpack, the NPC will only give us the one missing from the whole set. Re-acquiring Ogre Rune Stones has no cooldown. Unfortunately, after completing the mission “The Great Hunger”, getting these items is impossible!
10. Large Pliers
This item is closely related to the “Survival of the Strongest” mission, but it is not necessary to start either this task or even the Krailos Quest to obtain it. We simply need to go to the area around the mine and search for the desired item in the bodies of goblins. These attempts can take up to a several minutes.
In an analogous way we can get an item: Heavy Stone Hammer.
11. Heavy Stone Hammer
This item is closely related to the “Survival of the Strongest” mission, but it is not necessary to start either this task or even the Krailos Quest to obtain it. We simply need to go to the area around the mine and search for the desired item in the bodies of goblins. These attempts can take up to a several minutes.
In an analogous way we can get an item: Large Pliers.
12. Poison Salt Crystal
Around Winter Update 2023, the possibility of buying this item from NPC Black Bert for 20,000 gp was introduced.
These crystals can be also obtained in any quantity during the “Survival of the Strongest” task. However, to do so, we must equip ourselves with the necessary amount of Heavy Stone Hammers, depending on the expected effect. We can only get 2 copies of Poison Salt Crystal at a time, after which the hammer disappears. To multiply this result, we need to take the crystals out of the backpack temporarily and inform NPC Grubokk during the quest that we have lost crystals saying: “lost crystals”. This will allow us to make another attempt to break off the crystal. This activity can be repeated any number of times. We don’t have to wait to make another attempt. The whole task also can be repeated every 20 hours.
The above item descriptions are abbreviated and contain the most relevant information.
