Same question on the replacement… What purpose does the small blue present do in the stack? Is it just a skinny item that adds to stack? JW because I’m trying to think of ways to recreate some of these myself. TY

Small Blue Present plays a pretty key role here – it’s what makes stacking possible in the first place. More specifically, it has a bit of “height” to it, which lets items be placed on top of each other and creates that nice layered, stacked look. Without these presents, the whole setup would feel quite flat and wouldn’t really resemble proper stacks of books at all.

I’m afraid there’s no perfect replacement for this one at the moment. 🙁 You can try using a Zaoan Hassock instead, but keep in mind it costs 60 TC per item.
