With the introduction of houses, modest decorations began to emerge. And one of the first possible themes, given the obtainable items, was pirate decorations. Although there used to be only a small fraction of the decorations available today, players were eager to collect black tapestries with skulls, compasses, peg legs and create a collection displaying it proudly to others. Today, the possibilities are much greater. In addition to the classic, well-known attributes of pirates, Tibia Store decorations have been introduced, new areas occupied by the rat race called Pirats, and quests in which you can obtain many themed items and fight bosses. We can only be limited by our imagination.
Therefore, in this article we will show you how many items can fit into the decoration of a real pirate, what DIY elements that create a tropical atmosphere to use, what houses will highlight your projects and present you with some decorations that will inspire you to create your own unique ideas!

With the vast number of items available, such as strictly decorative items from the Tibia Store, quest items available on the Market, or as loot from monsters – one can get lost. With the introduction of the Podium of Renowan into the decoration, player who own a house can decorate their interiors additionally with a character, a mount, or a character on a mount. The only requirement is to have this particular outfit/mount assigned to the character. You can buy it in Store for 500 Tibia Coins.

We can make a pirate decoration anywhere. However, some houses in Tibia fit this theme much better than the average downtown house. This is due to their shape, location by the water, etc. If we own one of them, it is worth considering creating a truly pirate-like arrangement to emphasize the character of our house.
Nautic Observer
The house is located slightly out of the way in the city of Carlin, near Fermor Hills. And although the surroundings don’t suggest it at all, it will fit in perfectly with the pirate decoration. It is surrounded by water, its design is reminiscent of a ship (it has a mast placed in the middle, and fishing nets hang on the walls). In addition, the house has a basement shaped like a tiny ship surrounded by water.

The Tibianic
The Titanic… oh, pardon! I mean The Tibianic. As the name suggests, this guildhall refers to the much celebrated liner, which was one of the largest, most elegant ship of its kind. The immense size and sleekness were brilliantly translated into the world of Tibia. The Tibianic, however, unlike the original, has not sunk and proudly presents itself open to players. If your guild wants to feel the vibe of sea voyages and smuggle a bit of pirate theme in there, then choosing this guildhall will be perfect!

Pirate Shipwreck
November 2019 saw the addition of houses in Tibia’s already-known cities. This was part of a major house update that not only introduced content in the form of new houses but also merged old, small, and unpopular ones into more appealing, larger options for players. In addition, some house features have been added to the client, and beds have been removed from houses and given the option to buy and set them up anywhere.

It was then that a pirate shipwreck appeared in the eastern part of Darashia city. The entire ship is divided into two parts, which are two separate houses and have a separate address. For the best effect, it is worth buying them both, so that our decoration is homogeneous for the entire area of this house. However, it is worth considering how demanding and expensive this project will be, since the city where the pirate shipwreck is located has limited options for using pushable objects.

Meriana Beach
The house, as the name suggests, is located on Meriana. There is no more fitting location for a pirate-style decoration than this place! Meriana is a small tropical island, from which we directly get to Nargor – the island of pirates. You will find plenty of tropical flora, sandy beaches, and even a large turtle that can take us on a journey around the Laguna Islands. Beautiful surroundings are not the only advantage of the “Meriana Beach” property. Inside the house we also have our own palm trees, a parrot, and 53 SQM of water where we can swim freely, which is not a common attraction in houses. Rum Cask also stands there. Unfortunately, this house has a number of disadvantages that cannot be overlooked.

Palms
Palm trees are DIY elements that can prove to be the perfect solution for enhancing the character of pirate decorations. After all, in addition to ships, pirates are also associated with tropical islands, where they hide from the world and store their stolen treasures. All you need to create such palms are Stools, Areca Palm, Leaves, and selected fruits. You can adjust the height of the tree to your preference (from 1 Stool, to 3 Stools).
If there are no stools in or around the city where your house is located, you can use Thick Trunk, which can be purchased at the furniture shop (Port Hope).

Below is the famous Warrior’s Guildhall, a guild house located north of the depo in Thais. It is presented in two versions depicting pirate decorations. The two examples, despite their similarities and many common denominators, differ quite noticeably in both colors and finishes. The decoration created by Norelli is a great example of the use of DIY Palms, created from Areca Palm, leaves and stools. How do you like such an effect?

OUTRO
Although pirates and the first decorative elements in this style were introduced to the game long ago, the theme has developed significantly over the years. New decorations have appeared both in the Tibia Store and in the game itself. Nowadays, we have plenty of options! All you need is time and an interesting idea to create something really special.
