Podium of Vigour
INTRO
Presenting characters and creatures in houses in Tibia was first made possible with the Podium of Renown, when players were given the opportunity to display the outfits and mounts they had acquired. Since then, the desire to show off a kind of trophy of our achievements has become part of the game of RPG players. And from the perspective of decorators – players were given the opportunity to create even more interesting decorations. This is because in addition to using furniture and decorative items, they could smuggle permamently visible characters, mounts or both at the same time into their arrangements, which related to the theme of the decor.
With the summer update in 2022, the Podium of Vigour was introduced to the game, thus giving you the opportunity to permanently display images of bosses in your houses. In this article we will show you how to get your first, as well as subsequent podiums in your collection and how to use it.
BOSSTIARY
Bosstiary, is a feature that gives some interesting possibilities. It involves killing bosses from 3 different categories. Depending on the number of kills, 3 levels of completion of a given boss are specified, for which we accumulate a corresponding amount of points. These in turn translate into a bonus % to loot from the bosses that were put in slots. The more points – the bigger bonus. That’s it in a nutshell. These possibilities have interested players from all servers and made boss hunting popular again! In this article, however, we will skip the scoring rules of the bosstiary itself and focus on what is necessary to get the Podium of Vigour.
As mentioned above, we can divide the bosses into 3 categories. They depend on the duration of cooldown or having less defined time intervals of appearance in the game:
BANE
Bane, is a collection of bosses that appear more than once every 20 hours.
ARCHFOE
Archfoe, is a collection of bosses that can be killed once every 20 to 48 hours.
NEMESIS
Nemesis is a collection of bosses that can be killed less than once every 48 hours.
In addition, we can also specify 3 levels of completion of a given bosstiary entry. Depending on how often we can kill the boss, the values of achieving the next level look different:
PROWESS
Bane | 25 kills |
Archfoe | 5 kills |
Nemesis | 1 kill |
EXPERTISE
Bane | 100 kills |
Archfoe | 20 kills |
Nemesis | 3 kills |
MASTERY
Bane | 300 kills |
Archfoe | 60 kills |
Nemesis | 5 kills |
Below is an example of started and completed entries in the bosstiary with different categories:
PODIUM OF VIGOUR
HOW TO GET IT?
To get the Podium of Vigour and present it in your house it is necessary to reach the expertise level of the particular boss you’re interested in. With the completion of the level, a red message will appear in the game window next to your character.
You will get your first podium for free and it will be automatically sent to your Store Inbox.
Each subsequent Podium of Vigour that you wish to possess will have to be purchased from the NPC Emael, located in the Adventurer’s Guild, and will cost you 1.000.000 gold coins.
ITEM SPECIFICATION
NOT PICKABLE – note that you can not pick this item to your backpack. The only way to take it with you is to wrap it to your Store Inbox.

HOW TO USE IT?
The podium is permanently stored in our Store Inbox. Optionally, it can be moved to the deposit. Wanting to set the item in the house, expand the list of options (depending on our settings, for example, right-click) and select “Unwrap”. Wanting to hide an item – we select the item menu analogously and choose “Wrap”.
To be able to change the options of our podium, we must expand the item menu, then select “Customise Podium”.
SELECTING THE BOSS
The window for customizing a new podium will open without the presented boss. To choose which creature you want to display, select the boss of interest from the list on the right. Note, that in the list you will find only bosses with EXPERTISE level achieved. As an example – we will choose Abyssador.
SEARCHING THE BOSS
Sometimes our list of bosses is quite long. To make our search easier, we can use the option of manually typing the name of the boss.
SHOW/HIDE CREATURE
The podium in its basic version is empty, does not display any boss and is an object decorated with the symbol of the bosstiary. If we choose a boss from the list, and after time we feel like returning to the basic appearance of the podium – we can use the show/hide creature option. Another way to reset the chosen boss is to select a “wrap” object from the menu, then uwrap – and put it in the same place.
SHOW/HIDE PODIUM
The biggest advantage of Podium of Vigour from a decorator’s point of view is, ironically, the ability to hide the podium. Before you consider this absurd, it should be emphasized that this is about the pedestal itself, while the depicted image of the boss will be displayed separately.
SHOW/HIDE FLOOR
The background floor divided into 1×1 SQM tiles is used to orient how the graphics of a particular boss look in relation to the game area. It suggests the size of the boss, which is perhaps more difficult to judge when the graphic is suspended on a solid background. However, when the tiles start to get in the way and you want to focus on the appearance of the boss itself, you can turn off the floor at the bottom of the window.
ROTATE
If you wonder how your boss will look like from different sides, the “Customise Podium” window allows different positions of the displayed creature. To change it, use the arrows located in the lower left and right corners of the floor (background).
ANIMATIONS
Some of the bosses on display at Podium of Vigour have animation, others do not. The moving ones undoubtedly add charm to the decorations and make them “alive.” What does animation depend on? – The answer is simple!
Monsters in the game, including bosses, can have up to two types of animation:
1) idle animation,
2) animation while moving between SQMs.
Podium of Vigour presents the idle state. Thus, if a monster in this state does not have an animated version (single frame animation), it stands still on the podium. On the other hand, if its animation in the idle state is more complex (composed of at least 2 frames), the podium displays the animated version.

Alptramun

DID YOU KNOW: The exception is Shlorg, which has an animation in the idle state suitable for moving between SQMs + standing still in one. However, this is a kind of bug in the idle graphics. Presumably, the idle character was supposed to have only 1 frame, and it is likely that this mistake will be fixed with the sprite update.

And now it’s time for you to be the ones to create your wonderful Podium of Vigour collections!
