The Cradle of Monsters Quest is a pretty interesting one from a decorator’s point of view. You can get plenty of decorative items from it, which will later be useful for your decorations. Here they are:

It is worth mentioning right at the beginning that some of the very attractive items you will find in the spoilers are unfortunately impossible to get. This is because they disappear in our backpacks in a very short time. This makes it impossible to use them for our decorations. Here they are:

1. Empty Flask
On each floor of Dr. Marrow’s underground laboratory is a Pile of Ominous Flasks. By using it you will get the Empty Flask necessary for the “Anti-Mutagen” mission. Cooldown for the ability to get the item again is 5 minutes. It is worth noting that the cooldown is imposed on the item, not the pile of flasks, so no matter which stack we click we must patiently wait the specified time.
These bottles can be collected regardless of the level of completion of the quest, untill you finishi it. They are available both right after starting The Cradle of Monsters Quest (making access to Ingol) and after completing the mission. Unfortunately, with the pulling the lever that gives us the mount along with the “Strangest Thing” achievement, we lose the ability to collect these flasks irretrievably.
2. Feather and Inkwell
We can collect this subtle decoration that perfectly suits the interiors in the style of libraries and reading rooms repeatedly using the writing desk located on level -3, right next to NPC Aletta. It is therefore necessary to complete The Cradle of Monsters Quest until we can get down to this level. However, we don’t have to worry about continuing missions. If necessary, we can get this item even after finalizing them. The cooldown for this item is 20h. Unfortunately, with the finishing the quest, we lose the ability to collect Feather and Inkwell irretrievably.
3. Research Records
On level -3, in the place marked on the map among the southern zone occupied by the creations of Dr. Marrow’s crazy experiments, you will find an inconspicuous pile of trash. Using it, you will get decorative item that will be perfect for your house arrangements. The cooldown for Research Records is 20 hours. With the finishing the quest, we lose the ability to collect Research Records irretrievably.
Unfortunately, we must be prepared to face a significant number of monsters on the way to the object of interest. Players who feel comfortable on this difficulty level are recommended not to waste time and just run through quickly using the trash pile.
4. Book with Transcripts
The book is similar in appearance to the well-known “Sinister Book” from The Secret Library Quest bosses. Thus, it can serve as its interesting replacement, or simply as an eye-pleasing decoration. It can be found on level -3 in the Deeper Ingol area, in the northern part occupied by mutated creatures. To get it, you need to click on the tree stump located there. This item can be taken multiple times, even after completing the mission. The cooldown is exactly 20 hours. Unfortunately, with the pulling the lever that gives us the mount along with the “Strangest Thing” achievement, we lose the ability to collect these books irretrievably.
5. Blank Paper
A piece of blank paper can be an interesting decoration for scientists’ houses, with noticeable references to libraries, laboratories, and so on. It can be found on level -1, -2, and -3. We can take this item multiple times. What’s more we don’t have to worry about continuing missions. If necessary, we can get this item even after finalizing them. The cooldown for this item is 20h. Unfortunately, with the finishing the quest, we will lose the ability to get Blank Paper forever.
6. Fresh Hydra Herbs
To be able to get this item we need access to level -4 Deeper Ingol. There, in an area occupied by hordes of mutated monsters, we will find small objects called “Hydra Corms”. Using them we will get the coveted Fresh Hydra Herbs. If running around the area is not something you can do freely – it’s worth standing still at your chosen spot, because Hydra Corms renew only every 20 seconds. This allows us to collect a relatively large number of items without exposing our character to death.
We can collect Fresh Hydra Herb both after starting The Cradle of Monsters Quest and after completing it.
7. Egg Cracker
To get this item we must have access to level -5. There, in the northeastern part of the floor, you will find a crate with an Egg Cracker in it. This tool can be taken repeatedly, but we are limited by a cooldown of 20 hours. After pulling the lever that gives us the mount along with the “Strangest Thing” achievement, we unfortunately lose the opportunity to collect the item again.
8. Flask with Anti-Mutagens
This item is obtained by partially completing the “Anti-Mutagen” mission. To do this, we must, according to the instructions of the quest, gain access to level -5 and ask the NPC Geoffray to entrust us with the task. After receiving 5 Flask with Anti-Mutagen, we do not continue our quest. We can at this point repeat this activity and collect another 5 bottles without waiting for any cooldown.
After killing the final boss, we can still create a Flask with Anti-Mutagen, but we will need the ingredients to complete this task: Fresh Hydra Herbs, Bottled Yolk, and Nutrient Solution, and thus we must be in possession of Empty Flasks and an Egg Cracker.
